Aja, CEDA graduated from ACT College and is a Certified Expanded Duties Assistant. Aja started at Dr. Kauffman’s when she did her externship here during her final year at ACT. She is also a member of the Dental Assisting National Board Association. She enjoys spending time with her family and reading a good book. Aja has been a member of Dr. Kauffman’s team for 18 years.
Mai, CEDA attended the Ho Chi Minh City Medicine and Pharmacy University in Vietnam. She is a Certified Expanded Duties Assistant with over 30 years of experience in the dental profession. Mai has had extensive training with the CEREC, our same day crown system, and she is a member of the American Dental Assistant Association. When she isn’t working on making great smiles, she enjoys spending time with her family, cooking, and shopping. Mai has been with Dr. Kauffman’s team for 17 years.
Megan L., RDH is a registered Dental Hygienist who received her BSDH from Georgia State University and her degree in Dental Hygiene of Applied Sciences from West Georgia Technical College. She is committed to giving her patients the best service possible while making their experience friendly and pleasant. Developing a rapport with her patients, and teaching them the value of maintaining good oral health, is something Megan takes pride in. Megan is happy to be working with such amazing people and is thrilled to have a career she loves. Megan is married to her husband of four years and they have a son, Brandt. They also are parents to two energetic fur babies, Bokhee and Sadie. Her hobbies include traveling, reading, and spending time with friends and family.
Megan R., RDH joined our team in 2024. She graduated from Georgia Highlands College with a Bachelors degree in Dental hygiene. She is a member of the ADHA. She was a dental assistant before becoming a hygienist and has over 12 years dental experience. In her free time, she enjoys volunteering at various dental outreach functions, hiking with her dog, spending time with family, and traveling.
Doretha graduated from Scott Community College in Iowa with an Associates Degree in Accounting. She has over 17 years of professional experience as a Dental Administrative Assistant. She is also the recipient of the “Pride Award” for personal responsibility in delivering excellence, from Security National Bank. Doretha likes to spend time with her family, traveling, and cooking. Doretha has been with Dr. Kauffman’s team for 13 years.
